Dr. Blacher is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He earned his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Hospital – University of Miami Medical School in Miami Florida. He then completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, Massachusetts.
Dr. Blacher has been an integral part of numerous research and clinical trials at the Cardiovascular Research Center of South Florida. He has also been a physician for the Miami Open Tennis Tournament in Sports Medicine and Cardiology for the past thirty years.
Dr. Blacher practices at Baptist Hospital of Miami, Florida where he is a staff physician and a member of the Miami Cardiovascular Institute. He has been a member of Heartwell since its inception. His main interests are preventative cardiology, hypertension, atrial fibrillation and congestive heart failure.
